If the government handed you a few  hundred million,  and took responsibility for your bankrupt pension fund, do you think you could operate a business at a profit at least for a little while?     

I think I could.

GM paid Zero income taxes in 2011. You think they'll cough some up in 2012?     All this success should result in some cash back against the loan.

GM still hasn't paid all the money back and probably never will. The result would have been better if GM had been allowed to go bankrupt and reorganized without being hamstrung with union wages, pensions, etc. I had 8 grand in GM bonds that are nor worthless because ibama gave it to the unions.
