Mark it down.

In the next 4 poles, KSU plays nubb home and away (both wins), @cyclowns (win), buttaloes (win), @tech and @land thieves (should both be wins), and misery at home.  Should be 7 games, 7 wins.  None of these teams are ranked.  Only misery is receiving votes.  No home cooking this time around, though.

In that time,
#10 ut plays #1 gay u.
#9 dook plays #19 georgia tech & @nc
#8 georgetown plays #2 villanova and #4 syracuse
#7 purdue plays @#5 mich st., @#18 ohio st, and home agains #5 mich st
#6 w. virgina plays #21 pitt, #2 nova, and @#21 pitt, and @ uconn
#5 mich st. plays @#16 wisconsin, vs #7 purdue, #18 ohio st, and @#7 purdue
#4 syracuse plays @ #8 georgetown, and vs #2 nova
#3 kentucky plays home and away against #14 tennessee, and @#20 vanderbilt
#2 nova plays @#8 georgetown, @#6 w. virgina, @#21 pitt, and @#4 syracuse.
#1 gay u plays @#10 texass

Half of the top 10 plays a team higher ranked than them right now.

Hell, it isn't impossible KSU could be #1 or #2 by the end of the month. Ready to go into lowrents and exact vengeance.

Ranking doesn't matter.  The only thing that matters is Texas.  We need to get a higher NCAA seed than them so we can play our first two rounds in OKC instead of BFE.

1 down

KSU destroys corn

2 down

Wisky stomps #5 mich st.

Although I don't think mich st. drops enough to fall behind us just yet.  Losing 6 spots after losing to a ranked team isn't real likely. One step at a time.

The boiled down premise is that if Kstate has climbed to the Top 10 against the hardest part of their schedule...then it stands to reason that we'll climb a bit higher against the easiest part.

Our next 5 games are against (not in actual order) teams 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12 in the conference standings.

I think you are giving us far too much credit against those other teams in the north. We could lose to any of them!

Thank you, texas!

buh-bye Mich St.  (again)

Unless G-town beating Nova keeps them ahead of us, that's 3 spots

Probably #8, maybe #9 come Monday.

Only the creampuffaloes in Manhattan this week.

It is closing in on the the point in the year when those teams that are going to make a run, start the run.

Every coach has a suit case full of film to break down, they know what the opponent is going to do, they know how to stop it if they can.  No more secrets or surprises.  Playing in front of hostile crowds and pathetic Big 12  refs should be routine by now, the real players have gotten over it.

It is time for the Cats to let  out their  inner Cinderella.

No more close loses to mediocre teams like KU, MU and OSU.

If KU could win it all in '88 then we could win it all this year, all we need is a little luck (Larry Brown luckiest SOB ever) and a few highly seeded teams in our bracket to go down and, voila NC.  If we just had an asst coach with a truck driving background with a really tall son we'd be set. chirp6

#7 in both poles likely coming up today.  Say goodbye to overrated G-town and their 4 losses to unranked teams as well as drunken bob and his band of moonshine runners after their two losses.

Make it undefeated the rest of the way (the squawks are our only truly dangerous game) and we'll be battling Kentucky for #1.  Lots of tough games left for all the teams ahead of us.  Two poles left after today before playing the squawks.  Now that warren is sick from kissing sam bradford, blow u should be pretty well cake.  sand aggy on the road is the only other test.

Frank has sat on this team to date, to keep them from peaking too soon.  They can play better.

Time to turn em loose.

With top 7 ranking, we are the Big 12's best shot, everyone knows Hawks will choke in 2nd round.   Big 12 Refs told to back off Cats from here on out.

Likely to beat KU not once, but twice.  My gawd, can you imagine the melt down in Lawrence?

It's Cinderella time.

Down goes nova for the 2nd time this week.

Khatz 2 #6 come Monday!

Can nova bounce back and bump cuse this week?  That and a win @ tech, or possibly Tenn beating kentucky is all that is standing between me and my prediction coming true.

KSU needs to be a hungry 4-6 seed and not a fat & happy 2 seed to do anything in the tournament.  Your team reminds me of a hockey team that just throws pucks at the net praying that you can get enough 2nd & 3rd opportunities to shoot 42% and win.

Admitting you're top 5 because you haven't played anyone is pretty telling.

We played lots of good teams.  SOS is 4th among the top 10 teams in RPI. Of those, only one (Duke) is ranked higher. What helped us is that our tough games for the most part were early in the conference schedule and in the non-con.  We then got a run of winnable games down the stretch and took care of business.  At the same time, other teams spread their tough games or even backloaded them.  As we've learned in football, its better to lose early than late in the season.  Same applies here, just that the consequences of losing one game aren't as big.

Uncle Chuck, please don't lecture Wildcats on a weak schedule.

Who the fuck is Mercer anyway?     You fuckers played every patsy from Wester Illinois to Sam Houston State in the non-con and were running up a world class record on paper.   Jesus Christ,  most of us didn't even know some of those schools even fielded a basketball team.  It's a wonder you didn't invite  Langston come in there for an ass whipping.

Nice game in Manhattan, though.  Cowboy's best performance of the year, perhaps.

Self was just giving you all a little alumni reach around on saturday.  He thought he had a game to spare.   Thanks for the memories, and all that shit.

Cats are a legit 5 team and probably better.    Ford's a good coach though, you all should be much better in 2010-11.   Might sniff a Cats ass from the no. 2 slot.

I thought you were high when you started this thread, but you deliver.

You are now the anti-SIG.

Disappointed to see MU not get ANY votes after the weekend, but such is life.

We'll just have to make our bones come tourney time.

Who did you predict to win the national championship in football? Exactly.

You are the kiss of death, SIG. Don't deny it. Just revel in your notoriety.
